~OUR FIRST EMBRACE~

It has been a long time. So much has taken place... We flew to MN to pick up Tsehaynesh on March 19. Returned home with her on the 20th. All is well. She is the most perfect creature I have ever seen:) I think I am still having trouble processing that she is ours and we are hers. I just feel like were babysitting or something. It's so unreal!!!

She seems to be adjusting so well. She loves all of us. You can see it in her eyes. We are all madly in love with her. Aneleise is over the moon for her. T (her nickname) calls Aneleise "yaya". CUTE! She also calls dada, but no mama:( I am sure it will come soon.

We are starting the re adoption next week. One more thing... I will be glad when that is over.

T is having some issues with sleep. Like not doing it... She has not slept for more than 4 hours at a time. So, were working on that. She also does not like me to ever put her down. When were out and about she is so happy. She loves people, places and crowds. She lights up when we go to Aneleise's school. Loves the children.

We have a friend who lives close to us, with a Ethiopian baby. I feel so blessed to have them. It will be so neat once they are older .We have gotten them together once, but plan on meeting up more often. T enjoys her a a lot. There are also 2 babies that come from the same care center who are close by. The nannies said one of them was T's "boyfriend". That she would get so excited every time she saw him! So precious!!

I have been thinking about the past 3 years. The waiting, the wondering, the hurt, the disappointments, the anger and the tears... Was it all worth it?? YES!! I never thought I would be able to say that. I truly wondered about the out come of this process. God is good and faithful!!!
